Fussy kids

April 10, 2017 10:21pm CST
My daughter is a year and 3 months. She has been so fussy lately, This morning she woke up crying, which she's never done. She'll be walking around playing one minuet and the next she just starts crying out of nowhere. I feel so bad i don't know what to do.

She might not be well. I'm sure children don't usually cry for no reason, especially when you mentioned that your daughter is only like this lately. Check her teeth, maybe she is teething...

Agree. Teething makes some kids very fussy.

That's too bad. You must be feeling so helpless looking at her crying all of sudden. I hope you find the reason pretty soon and are able to help her.

Hey how is your little girl now? Were you able to find the reason behind her crying?

@Blushandglow She's good now, running around and laughing! I think she was just a little sick, her nose started running a little bit after. Thanks !

@Chels0116 good to know that. Sometimes it's very difficult to know what is actually wrong with the kid. God bless her.

Something makes her feel uncomfortable... If it continues, you might want to take her to the doctors to be checked. Welcome to myLot, by the way... I hope you enjoy it here. And more importantly, I hope your daughter is alright!

Could she have an ear infection? You might want to get her Pediatrician to check. Or maybe she's teething. Best wishes and welcome to myLot!

That's what I was going to suggest too. Ear infections are common in little ones, and unfortunately, they don't know how to communicate the problem to you. It's always best to look for the telltale sign of them tugging on the ear, sometimes it's the only way to know that their ear is bothering them!

We can't guess even then to give them what they love playing or eating

It happens even my son is of 1 year. Sometimes he shows very wierd attitude for things but later on he becomes fine. So just wait and watch. But ya observe her because in this stage she can have some health problems too which she cannot communicate. Ao wait and watch.

I hope she is not getting sick. Does she have any teeth coming in? Perhaps she is getting an ear ache. You may want to have her checked out. I hope she feels much better.

Take her to a doctor. Her behavior is not normal. Let the doctor runs some tests. It could be a simple remedy like changing her diet or it could be something more serious. You need to know. If she wasn't fussy before and now she's changed, you need to take her to a doctor. God bless you and your child.

I was about to suggest that she could be getting sick, or have an ear infection, but I scrolled down through the comments first and saw that you had mentioned that she was getting a cold. Hope she gets over it quickly and is back to her happy, normal self. And welcome to myLot!
