I am answering my notifications, and I am once again back to my discussion where the subject (keyboard) branched out to a long thread with 2 Mylotters @minx267 and @sishy7. Isn’t it nice to interact and learn from one another? It is additional knowledge for me. I hope they also learned something from what I posted in the thread. I believe there are more discussions that I was able to join the thread. I like it. Have you engaged in a week-old thread?

lol. I am having a great time and it is nice to go over a lot of subjects. fun to keep learning, So what it this discussion going to be about.. I got choices.. I am eating Chicken and Rice. or - I have been discussing making designs (art) on another discussion. that is always fun.. but of course my expertise is in animals so that is always fun for me. here is a picture I took years ago of a Great Blue Heron who I watched catch this big Koi fish and swallow him down hole.. I have picture from beginning to end of him doing it. I felt bad for the fish. but was fascinated by the whole thing.

@minx267 It would be like a snake swallowing something. You'd be able to see it going down all the way.

I've engaged in months-old threads too... I like going back to discussions I've been to. I'm surprised how some do not even go back to their own discussions after posting them.

I have had old discussions revived. one not too long ago too.. Some delete them and i find that sad. because I like to see stuff I used to post.. nostalgia... and helps with the memory loss.. lol

@minx267 Yes, that has happened to me too recently and it was quite nostalgic to read back my very first discussion along with the responses and comments I received on it...

indeed, when a comment is ended by a question, and you need more clarifications, or simply responding to them. i do that, and i end the thread if i can not say anything anymore with a smiley emoji.

try to make one, kabsat, and i will try to make a thread out of it, and i hope others will do it as well. i would just suggest that you carry over a response to a comment.

@ridingbet That is right. Sometimes virtual friendship is better than the real thing!

@Shellyann36 i agree to that, my friend. here, we can open ourselves and talk about things that we keep secrets to our friends in the real world. i am able to open up my sentiments to my only sister, for example.

I love to get a conversation going and then it goes to something else and just keeps going from there. I have a couple of them happening right now. It is so funny how a word or two brings the conversation to change but it keeps going on.

as long as there are no users who are sensitive and can accept joking around, yes, it is nice to engage in such interactions.

6 years ago, here in mylot, we usually engaged in discussions for more than a week. People not only responded to discussions, they read all the responses in one discussion and interact with everybody who interacted in such making that post a real discussion. There were not too many posts in a day, but there were too many interactions. I am missing that kind of discussion here in mylot.

@ridingbet A lot of people who came here from bubblews have somewhat changed the concept of mylot.

@toniganzon indeed, and when i check on the new discussions and discussions with no response, i think the authors have not read the whole guidelines of this site.

i think there are some more people who engage in interactions that form threads, but i also believe that some members, specifically the newbies, who keep on making new discussions without even commenting back, that changes the perception of this site. maybe they assume this site is like bubblews; the more posts, the better.

Not much, these week I was more focus on the recent and newly made post. But sometimes I go check out the top rated discussions.

hmmm, i also noticed that you rarely make a follow up comment to those that comment back to you. i had that in some of my discussions. it is okay. when i have answered all my notifications, i scroll down the latest discussions posted, and even the new users' posts as well.

your discussion that is a follow-through with mine as a Scorpio and a pig--- the thread there is also great to participate.
14 Apr 17
I just responded to a comment from six days ago, but that was because I have been so busy that I haven't been here in six days. I also really like when comment threads continue on and gear off into topics other than what the discussion was about. So many people have so many interesting things to share.

It is good to interact with mylotters. We can gain more knowledge as they share valuable comments. Not the "canned" comments. Kudos to mylotters.

if you read some of the comments in my previous discussion about having a new keyboard, you will notice that the comments are not at all 'canned'. that is why i gave you a suggestion to make one discussion so we can have a thread, thus increasing interaction and your bank of course
