I have only made it once, but it was so good. I was looking at recipes last night. IF I am going to make it, it better be soon, because it is going to start getting hot!

It is a Greek style of lasagna using eggplant and a thin white sauce.

@snowy22315 Oh okay - I like those ingredients... Is it a middle-eastern type of dish?

Yes, it is. It is a bit like lasagna but has a thin white sauce and is often made with ground lamb. I use beef though.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I don't generally eat lamb either. Besides I wouldn't know where to find ground lamb. The butcher would have to do it.

@snowy22315 It sounds like it might be something I'd be willing to try... I wouldn't willingly eat Lamb myself. Though I have had Gyro which is a combination of Lamb and Beef if I recall correctly.

I used to go to one when I lived in Arlington called the Black Olive..awesome Greek food. Their is a Greek egg and lemon soup that is fantastic. I had that at another Greek place. I would love to try making that sometime.
