And there´s a time to heal.

I have not been feeling well in these past days. Today, as in other things in my life, I decided that I would declare myself well. Ot seems to me that if you accept pasively destiny, be it in an illness or in any other part of your life (such as love or money), nothing good will come out of it. I like that part of Hamlet´s soliloquy where he says "to take arms against a sea of troubles and by opposing, end them". I am not one to suffer what happens to me. I fight back. How are you, friends?

Positive thinking really does impact your health for the better. Keep telling yourself that you are well and healthy, say it aloud to the mirror, visualize it. It's good to fight back. When we quit fighting we may as well dig our grave.

Yes and fighting can be so tiring too without any means to help oneself..but it is also a sense of logic and reason. I wish you good health always my friend.

I have always felt that if I don´t fight back, I´d be overwhelmed by dispair. And that would reduce me to nothing. I fought back with cancer and I´m on remission. I want to belive that my decision not to believe that I was "a victim" of cancer helped me.

@TiarasOceanView As I don´t believe in miracles, I think the fighter spirit enhances the immune system.

@marguicha Indeed, I firmly believe that the fighting spirit and not to be a victim of it is the key. That is how my Mother beat it at 87.

I hope I would fight back too. I'm sorry you're still not well - or should I say I'm glad you're better.

Passively accepting destiny is letting life just happen to you instead of doing something to change your situation. Even those with lots of adversity have overcome their obstacles and done great things. One must view oneself as challenged by life circumstances instead of victimized by them.
