What benefits are there for a morning-walk? I know an evening-walk burns off your extra stomach-acid and makes you sleep better so that you wake up more-refreshed ... that's what I do!

Yeah...This reminds me one popular saying "An early morning walk is a blessing for the whole day - Henry David Thoreau". The main benefit for Morning walking is that it raises our heart rate and metabolism to burn calories earlier in the day. Morning walk also improves mental ability and sharpness.

I enjoy evening walks. I don't think I would want a morning walk as I get up early enough! Saying that, if I'm near the sea then I might wake early and go wandering. I don't understand how there can be more benefit to an early walk than an evening one, though. I like to walk and then rest. It makes me sleep better!

Yeah...You're right.I agree that it is not the time of day or place that matters .Weather conditions also have to be considered. But there is some disadvantages...Plants produce Co2 in the evenings and therefore there is lack of fresh air. There is oxygen abundantly available in the air as plants produce oxygen in the presence of sunlight during morning. Also in the evening the air becomes polluted and lot of traffic also is on the roads. Some people cannot always find time in the evenings especially due to personal engagements in the family and after work it is sometimes impossible due to stress or extended work schedules.
