I shouldn't have opened my mouth! Furniture Store Closing!

Are there times you wish you didn't open your mouth?
Me: Raising my hand!
There's a furniture store that is closing and each day my fiancé & I drive passes by, they'll have people holding a sign 25% entire store, then 30%, 50%, 75% and so forth!
Yesterday, I saw it at 80% and I brought it up to my fiancé and he said let's go today!
I said sure, we can check it out - usually there's nothing left right.. well there wasn't much left except furniture duh!
I should have known better! My fiancé said he totally needs another desk when we have plenty at home already. Now we're heading to my parents to borrow my dads SUV to deliver the desk home!
$200 bucks toward a new desk! We really don't need another desk either! So annoyed! But we saved $400 had we bought it for full price.

I never sold furniture before, I'd see that as a big hassle =) Because I wouldn't have a car to haul it for someone else. And I dont want people to know where I live to pick up the furniture either.

We just bought new desks last year! But it's his desk he wants and its very spacious for him to do his work, so if he wants it - he gets it! Plus he paid for it, lol.

My fiancé did ! Haha but he claims he needs it so let's seeeeeee. The desk is much nicer than his last one though :)

I stay away unless there is something I am needing. It's so easy to see and want something you don't need. Even if it's a nicer desk, your $200 could have gone for a needed item.

Yes! But ultimately the desk is a nice one and I'm sure he'll make good use of it. :) It is much better than his previous desk.

@infatuatedbby That won't be a problem. In fact the buyer would appreciate being delivered a fully assembled desk without him sweating it out to do it by himself :)

You didn't really save $400 on the desk if you bought a desk you didn't need! You ended up spending $200 that you didn't need to spend! haha
Anyway, I hope you find a good use for that desk! Will your fiancé get rid of another desk to make room for the new one, or did you just add another desk to the collection?

It's a lovely desk but let's see. He said he needs it and it'll be better for him. We added two new desks! Lol

There have been plenty of times I wished I had my mouth closed instead of blurting out things that I shouldnt have..ever.
Good for your fiance' he got another desk for such a discount.

I don't know if old furniture will sell but we'll put uses to the old desks. I'll replace my old desk at my parents :)

Oh - a closing out sale . . . if I lived closer to you I'd ask you to open your mouth wider to tell me where this place is

@infatuatedbby Omg are you serious? You guys must have a lot of room! This set would actually be good for the intended space - minus the extension one in the foreground here (we'd only have space for an L desk). You guys can open up your own desk shop

We adopted another desk while picking up the original desk he bought 
That's the desk he bought originally.. the photo isn't of the place that is closing but a different branch. We bought it at the store closing , drove to another branch to see how the desk looked which is still selling for full price lol
The second desk is for me..

Oh yes I am a shopaholic but not for furniture lol! He doesn't enjoy clothes shopping. Just food and furniture or technology!
