Perhaps I Am Not The Loyal Fan I Felt That I Am

I have always thought of myself as a loyal fan to many stars I have watched and liked over the years. But, lately I am rethinking that. I have noticed that I have quit watching some shows that I used to enjoy and am now watching other. But, I realize too that there is so much out there to see. I have even been watching more of the history, science and animal channels than I used. I was so into the true crime and housewives series on ID and Bravo. I have many cable channels to choose from. I am a tv hound. A tv- aholic. I come by it honestly. My mom loved her westerns from Bonanza, Cheyenne, Paladin, Gunsmoke and so many others. I remember my mom bought his bright red RCA little tv. One she could set up in the kitchen. She also recorded the theme songs from many shows like Bewitched and some others. Now that's a fan, don't you think?

i think as time goes by, we all change some. i change back and forth regularly . some times i get tired of watching the same gender of things and find myself watching more of something else. i love television so much it seems i have to have something on all the time and just get tired of my usual watch, then watch a different type for a while

Shows come and go and I've liked lots of different ones. I like to turn to the ME TV channel to watch the "oldies". Walker, Texas Ranger is one of the older ones that I try to watch each evening now if there isn't anything else on that I want to watch. I DVR several shows on HGTV-- Tiny House, Fixer Upper, Love it or List It. I also record I think on the Discovery Channel a show where people are RV shopping. Other than that, I record a heck a lot of shows on the Hallmark channel.

I used to watch a lot of TV . . . but that was so long ago. I miss the old kind of sitcoms and weekly shows. These days I'd rather be online - researching this or that (or myLotting of course ). I do like more of the non-fiction type shows if I do watch TV . . . and the reality shows - dance, singing, talent, survival/warriors, etc).

I'm also a TV addict. I love to watch both old and new shows. With so many good shows on the air, I want to watch them all, but it's impossible.

I know. I feel the same way. I sometimes tape two shows in my DVR and watch another( ones on at the same time) so I can see them all.

I miss TVs like the one in your picture. I visited my grandmother in January, and now can't stop watching certain shows on Investigation ID, because she watched it. I have 4 episodes of Disappeared, and 2 episodes of Homicide Hunter on my DVR right now. What shows have you been watching? Have you seen Sweet Home Oklahoma on Bravo?

Wow, you and I sound like we are living the same lives. I loved my TV shows and watched them (usually on demand) pretty faithfully.. I even thought I would do my part and accepted an invitation to be a Nielsen Family... and then this year.. I find my channels are almost always glued to The History, Nat Geo and animal planet and DIY channels And I am only faithfully watching like maybe 6-10 shows.. it's sad. I haven't seen NCIS in over a year. (but I do watch NCIS LA every week) A bunch of shows that started 2 years ago I thought were good. I never finished the season. Oh well. my latest obsession is Josh Gates. the Expwdition Unknown and now he is rerunning Josh Gates' Destination Truth on the Travel Channel SO I get to check those out- because I am pretty sure I missed most of those on the scifi (oops SYFY) Channel as I started boycotting them a bunch of years back. What are your favorite shows ?

TV has been my babysitter for most of my life. Now that I'm alone, I use the TV for company. I still watch old reruns of the original CSI. I've loved that show and miss it so much. I also watch a lot of crime shows. But I love comedies, too. And Survivor and The Amazing Race. I've been watching both of those since the first season!
