Gloomy or not, the beach was still beautiful!

My fiancé & I went to the beach this morning. We hiked from the bottom to the top, and enjoyed a couple of trails along the way.
We were actually thankful the weather was on the gloomier side or else it'd be really hot!
After our 1.5 hour hike, we went back to our car - threw off our sneakers and wore our sandals to walked in the water! It was very refreshing!
Who said you can't enjoy the beach on a gloomy day? 
We will be back to the beach on Friday.

Yes it was a nice relaxing walk. @sishy7 It was a nice breezy, not too cold. @hereandthere And very calm - not too crowded surprisingly.

@infatuatedbby I bet. usually one of the main reasons I don't go to the beach. Crowds, no where to park and HOT. don't like any of those.

@minx267 We purchased the yearly pass, so parking is not an issue but, I am not a fan of crowds either.

Luckily it doesn't rain too much and winter isn't really winter here I did think some were crazy for swimming yesterday in the ocean, it was quite cold. I was wearing capris and a shirt still with the breeze it was chilly, but after hiking - my body warmed up. But in a bikini (the other ladies I saw) , I don't know how they did it!

You bet! The waves are nice and calming. It was a nice day and not crowded at all which was nice. Many were even doing yoga on the beach.

It is a nice feeling , cooling sensation and when we get hot from walking, jogging, hiking, etc it feels so nice and cool!

Beaches are always beautiful! I can go there any number of times any day and every day but alas! We don't have beach in the vicinity. The nearest beach is around 12 hours from my place.

I love going to the beach when it's gray! I actually like it when it's almost about to rain. We can't plan that out, so we often go to the beach towards evening to avoid sunburn. Hope you had another lovely beach trip on Friday!1 person likes this

@infatuatedbby Oh no! I tend to get sunburned the worst on the face too - mostly the cheeks. But my skin is darker than the rest of the family - so Hubby and kids have to watch it way more than me.
