Shows from our childhood

This is one thing that my husband and I enjoy doing with our kids. Watching some shows that we used to watch as kids. Some they seem to enjoy more than others, but all the same, they do seem enjoy it and don't seem to mind too much. It is definitely something fun to do. There are some newer shows that they like to watch and I will admit are good, but it's still nice to be able to watch some shows, and even movies, that my husband and I grew up on.

That's very sweet. My kids are grown and have suggested movies and shows they think we'd like. So far, so good.

My husband and I love the Cosby show. That was one funny show. We haven't really watched it in a while. Can't remember if we've watched it with our kids or not, but it's still a show my husband and I liked.

I am glad Sesame Street is still around. That is one that parents and kids could watch for sure.

We do watch some of the Disney shows like Ducktales and Tale Spin. We also like watching Rupert Bear with them. Just a few things we watch.

The shows we used to watch years ago are so much more kid friendly. They had a plot and taught the kids morals and good behavior without being preachy.

So true. My husband and I feel the same way. There was more of a story and message behind the show.

Nice to see how they respond to what you both enjoyed in your youth.

It is a lot more fun to relive the shows we watched as kids. And I might be bias but I think the cartoons I had as a kid are way better than the cartoons these days. Except for shows like Adventure Time and Steven Universe. Those shows actually teach morals, where as a few others, do not. Though they are trying to get to the root of teaching morals again, which is what kids really need.

My husband and I feel the same way. Some of the cartoons we had growing up were a lot better than some of the shows that are on now. Some shows that are on now make no sense.
