myLot is not like Facebook. Here you 'follow' people and are 'followed by' people. If you follow someone, they may or may not follow you back. It is their choice. The purpose of following is mainly so that one can more easily see the activity of certain people in order to interact with them.

You cant send friend request like we can on facebook here. However you can follow certain person or message the person .
