I thought I was having a bad day until I read this one. My bad day: My car wouldn't start this morning, so I had to cancel a routine Dr. appointment, get my car jumped, and limp in to the shop. I was going to head into work and finish up some paperwork, but it looks like that's not going to happen. This man's bad day: He came home from a party drunk, got into a fight with his pet pig, got his penis and three finger bitten off, and later died from an infection caused by his wounds. Would you fight with your pet pig while drunk?

To tell you the truth, I wouldn't fight with my pet pig even when sober. To be brutally honest*, I wouldn't even have a pig as a pet. *I've often heard this extremely silly expression in discussions on BBC.

I would have to say even drinker that I was on Friday night up at Grass Valley. Yes, I was pickin' and grinnin' until 5 AM, but I wasn't wrestling with any pigs.

I just talk to them. I rarely pet them, as their hair is so coarse. And they can be pretty stinky.

@TheHorse I would not let my boys even touch it when they were little. Later, as an adult, my son went to the store with me and make a point of poking the tabloids by the checkout! I gather that the UK has mostly tabloids, at least that's what I see in my limited exposure via internet. I'll have to ask one of our UK members next time I see them.

Funny. I sometimes visit pigs (my favorites are the chickens and goats) when I take the kids to Borges Ranch. I've never been tempted to argue with the pigs, much less get into a physical altercation with them.
