Finally able to use my tablet again and update everybody. I am feeling pretty sore that is to be expected after such a surgery. I am sitting up and walking a bit. I had three walks yesterday and another walk this morning. Coming along good. I am still on oxygen because my left lung is partially collapsed but they say it will come back as I walk more. Other then that I am feeling like I just got run over by a semi truck but at least I am alive to tell about it.

I would have thought it would take longer @Happy2BeMe I'm glad you've pretty much healed as far as lungs are concerned.
Are you going to have to take it easy because of the bypass?

I am glad that your surgery went well. Now you are recovering everyday. I know at the beginning it is tiring and difficult to walk because of the wound, but since it will be good for you, you still have to try to walk a little everyday. And have a good rest after that. I am sure you will get well soon.

Yes I walk every day. They gave me a walking program to follow.

Even with all that you've gone through you sound a little chipper in your post. It's nice to know you're feeling better and will continue to improve as each day goes on. I was worried about you and will continue to send along prayers for your recovery and of course a bunch of hugs

YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Welcome back! I'm so relieved to hear that your surgery was a success, and that you are up and walking. My girlfriend developed a collapsed lung during pneumonia. It returned good as new shortly after. Wishing you a speedy recovery. I'm so happy my prayers were answered.
