What ingredient would you add that another cook might not think of? Doesn't have to be really unusual, but if you come up with an ingredient that would blow us away, we would love to know about it. Personally, I would add fried onions to mine. Now, what would you add to your soup??

Not a fan of sour cream, but maybe it you stirred it in it would work... hmmm, I think that just might work. The chives... that gets a thumbs up for sure :)

Celery. I think it would give it an extra crunch that would be really good.

I always go looking for any rice that we might have left over and I really like tossing in some corn too!

Someone was discussing Rosemary today, a delicious herb, and I remember my mom put it in tomato soup years ago. It was really delicious! It's very easy when you're using canned soup but mom made hers from scratch long ago and it took a bit more time. I think it tasted better than canned, especially with the Rosemary in it.

Definitely going to have to give that a try. Maybe it would be worth while growing some now that I think about it.

I think that hubby has made leek soup in the past. I don't remember loving it or hating it, so I guess that I'm sitting on the fence with this one! Now cheese is coming to mind... maybe he added that to the soup??

I will add some celery into my tomato soup and some fresh spring onion and coriander leaves chopped and some carrots too.

Now coriander might be a nice touch. I know that we did have some once upon a time, but I might have to replace them with something fresher!!
