Sometimes Walking Away is the Best Choice

There are times that in order to have a better life, we need to stay away from other people. If there will be some person who will continuously hurt us with judgmental words, then, I think that it is better to leave. I am not bothered to lost a friend in my group. It is better to have few true friends than having many but not true to you at all. That's life. Some stay and some are not.

@ridingbet Do you still have that understanding that only distance will set you apart but not your hearts? Sometimes when people are separated by distance, they also forget the friendship they made in the past.

@ridingbet I agree with you. True friends are difficult to find.

So true. I get off myself from negatives so called friends. It is better to have a few friends who are honest to me than plenty who are backbiters, negatives and not honest.

I have many friends. Some are close friends, some not so close. If any of them did me wrong, I just distanced myself from them. We will be cordial and say hello when we bump into each other in public places. But, I do not go to visit them.

I understand your situation because I am in that situation before. Now, I have fewer friends but true ones.

I can totally relate. Recently, I walked away from an undefined relationship after we've been dating for a month.

@rina110383 I agree. When I also feel like I am just wasting my time to someone, I start to walk away.

I agree to that. For me, I always set a gap or a limitation for people whom I am close with. Yep, eventhough we are close, that gap should remain so that I could withdraw myself whenever things goes wrong. :) stay out of toxic people lols

@Salvygabe Staying out of toxic people who easily judge you is really a wise decision.
