Hey everyone. It's so crazy how things can spiral out of control so fast. I'm shocked, numb and so sad.
Our landlord came over because we were going to pay him rent. He told us to keep the money because he's selling all of his properties. 
He said we need to find another place asap.
I'm not even ready to face this yet, I thought I could talk about it here and feel better but nope...my heart is aching.
All I need is positive comments and prayers right now. I don't know what's going to happen right now, don't know what to think... I just feel sick to my stomach.
I PRAY this is a blessing in disguise somehow...

@Hatley Yes it is. I'm falling apart but trying to stay strong for my kids. I'm so scared, I don't know what to think at this point. =(

Like that!! Isn't they need to give some notice or enough time for searching another one!! How much time he gave you?
That's really sad. I wish somehow it went good for you. And you able to find nice another place. As he is selling the properties you have to search another in anyway. Wish you all the best.

@akp100 He did give us notice, we have 30 days to get out. =(
I hope we can find a place too, with 5 kids we are worried.

That is a big shocking news. I am sorry you have to deal with moving once again. Just when you were settled especially with the new bedrooms you re decorated for your kids too.
I wonder if the owner will have a change of heart.

Dont panic!
First you do not have to get out, like just get out as soon as possible.
You have 30 days with eviction notice, did he give you a paper posted notice?
I know it sucks to move an 30 days is not long but its better than nothing.

@LovingMyBabies If you signed a rental agreement or a lease, it probably has language requiring a full 30 day notice.

I haven't been in such situation but I know how it feels (somehow, I do understand).
I once helped a friend who need a place to stay til she find a new room to rent.
She was given a week to vacate the place which is too imposible to find a new place plus the moving process.
I pray that this is a blessing in disguise and pray that you may find a new place -very soon.

@akp100 when we moved to our new built house ( we used to lived with my in laws for a year during house construction) it took me a month to completely settle all things in each proper places. ( that was tough)

I am sorry to hear that. This is very troublesome to move again. But since the landlord has to sell all of his properties, there is no way to keep staying there. It is better to find another place soon. I hope you will find a better house and will settle down well.

Could you continue to live there until after the sale is complete and then see if the new owners will let you remain there? Or do they want all the units to be vacant when the new owner takes over? I am so sorry to hear about this, and I will keep you and your family in my prayers. God will provide and will take care of you, even if it doesn't seem that way at the moment.
