Yesterday IL was told IL cold nothave my blood
sugar checkedc anhymore without a note frm my
doctore so the head of staff a very sweet woman
'has talked to my doctorand he wll send them
wrtttend approval t o have my blood sugar checked
Thils from the ones who took all m y blood sugar
equippment and forced me to haqve them take
my glood sugar.So I am cooled off, just think
tbat they have a hell of a lot to learn about
us older people.Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
So Im waiting til the head lady gets the'
written prmission. I get the idea that they'wish
all us diabetics would just sort of disappear..
well I have news for them hatley is here hatley
will get hther blood sugar checked, and thatley
thinks some i of them in charge have too few
brains, what I would call a fool?

Well I am glad your doctor is getting it straightened out so you can still get your blood sugar checked. You would they wouldn't not have an issue with that and just automatically do it. Every place is different i guess.

@Hatley yeah it's still not right though. What if one is low or high and has an issue then their at fault because they didnt check it.

I agree with you Hatley. That sounds so wrong that they don't want to check your blood sugar. That's just stupid. What if you went into a coma. My better half checks his After each meal. That's what his doctor tells him to do. I hope your doctor gave someone a good talking to.

Diabetes is something that is very serious. It should always be checked daily. Stay calm is important also, especially if you have high blood pressure. Hope your issues are straightened out in the future.

They need to get their policies straight. Either they check it or you check it. I would think they would want to know your status so they do not end up with a person in a diabetic coma. Good luck.
