Do you think I'm an idiot? No, don't answer that!

I got a message on Facebook yesterday from a woman that worked for me years ago. She said and I'm not quoting - Joe Blow died, no big loss, my mother's side of the family is nuts. What???? She answered back that her cousin, who I said I dated, had died. She said during the interview I had with her somehow this guy's name came up and I said I dated him. She went home and told her mom she probably didn't get the job - since her cousin had worked for the same company and was fired for stealing. I asked her if she was smoking weed? I have no clue who that person she says I dated. Never heard the name.....this supposedly was in 1989. I may be pushing 70, but I can list every guy I ever dated back to high school and none of them were the person she says I dated. I never dated anyone in the company, I never dated anyone in the town this guy lived in and I never dated anyone I can't remember LOL! I am no idiot and I'm beginning to think she is just trying to push me over the edge LOL! She said she is trying to find a photo of him....it won't help, I don't know him, never did know him. It is interesting how people can remember things differently or how their memory can be affected by things that complicate it. Memory is fascinating.

I wonder why she is doing this. I am more than sure that you remember all the guys you dated, I also remember all of them.

There will always be mean, disrespectful people in this world. I don't get it. I really don't. What do you have to gain by being mean and hurting people? I am all over the internet and social media and I am dumbfounded every single day by idiots.

She is being weird not mean. I don't think she is trying to hurt me, but she is sure she's right and I know she's wrong.

Seems to me like she is on another planet altogether and has got things mixed up in her mind. I would ignore her all I can and let it drop and not worry about the situation she wants to bother you with.

Well, that sounds crazy. Haha. I had a girl message me one day and just swear up and down that she played softball with me a few years before. I was only maybe 15 or 16 at the time and I had never met this girl before. She told me the team now and what year it was but I have no clue who she was and I had never played for that softball team.
