Ryan Seacrest is returning to American Idol when it returns in 2018. I'm not surprised by this news and figured when the money was decided it would be announced. Are you happy to hear he is returning to American Idol?
Right now, only 1 judge Katy Perry is officially announced and several people have already said no to being a judge. Personally, I'm interested in seeing who will work with the performers, as there were many big names in past years that appeared on the show to give tips.

I always liked Ryan Seacrest as the American Idol host . . . and since I've pretty must stopped watching American Idol for a long time, I've enjoyed him as a radio host every morning while driving the kids to school. That's great he will be coming back . . . he's become quite successful!
I do wonder who will be the other judges . . . hard to see the show without Simon and Randy (Paula can be replaced). Oh, I love the segments where they work with already famous stars - that's pretty exciting. I can't wait for the cringy worst auditions to show up on YouTube as well

I watch some of the cringe worthy worst auditions on video also. Its hard to believe some people don't know they can't sing.

@Fishmomma It's funny when they say the people around them tell them how good the are 
. . . or they say they've been singing all their lives and the judges don't know anything. Oh there are delusional people out there

Lionel Richie can sing so it will be interesting to see, if he should end up being a judge or mentor.

I thought i heard that the 3 judges from last season were returning but maybe not. Either way I'm excited that it's coming back i love that show

I don't like the Kardashians and won't watch anything even one of them is on now.
