Just Another Monday ....

Here it is another Monday morning and much of the same thing. It is 5 weeks today since I had my heart attack. It will be four weeks tomorrow since my surgery. I do feel better as the days go by. There is pain but it is becoming easier to handle. I get around more and there are more good days then bad.
This morning I slept in again but then again I stay up much later now then I use to when I was working. It is cloudy and cool this morning but that is okay. It is a nice little break from the really hot last week or so. I have no plans today, just the usual walk.

@Tampa_girl7 yes that is what they told me at the hospital too that everybody's recovery is different.

I hope so too. I talked to some people who said by 12 weeks the pain was mostly gone and other said it was a year so I shall see.

It's wonderful to watch your progression. You certainly gave me a scare, but remember, I told you that you would be as good as new. Soon, this will all be just a memory. I'm sure you are relieved that your daughter isn't getting married this summer! Oy!

No they didn't. I was on complete bed rest until the surgery because they said it was a life threatening situation.

Feeling not too bad. Most days are good. I have been doing lots of walking and even losing some weight so I feel good about that.

Not much going on here doing laundry right now and while that is going doing some mylotting. Glad to hear you are feeling better more every day hope it continues for you. Hope you have a nice day and enjoy your walk.

I am so sorry you had a heart attack, bless your heart in Jesus name! I pray for a speedy recovery. If you don't mind me asking how old are you? My mother had to have heart surgery too and she's doing much better now. She has 12 stents they put in to which lead up to her heart attack and surgery. I said a prayer for you. Do you know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior?

@Happy2BeMe I am 54 too and I'm praying I don't inherit my mothers troubles with her heart. I've had some chest pains but I prayed and they left. I'm so sorry you had to go through that. So glad you know Jesus Christ that makes us Sisters in Christ. What a pleasure to get to know you. Are you married? Have children? I have been married 22 years and have 4 adult children and 7 grand children. Don't get to see them much but I put it in God's hands, He knows my heart and my longings. Bless you as you heal my Sister!

Thank you. Yes I do! I am 54. I had three blockages but they couldn't do stents because of the location of the blockages so I had to have open heart surgery.
