Ironing naked is a bad idea. I know I have the scars to show for it. Have you ever got out of the shower, prepare to put on a shirt or something else and realize it needs ironing? No visualizing please, I promise it is not pleasant. Then you grab the iron and away you go. But be careful! That iron can get close to your exposed skin and the next thing you know you are moaning with pain. Has this ever happened to you?

Good for you, you have no use for an iron.

No, I never face that trouble since I avoid buying any items of clothing which require ironing.

I wouldn't risk it, I rather have my hands or my entire body dry before even consider ironing.

Although I'm sorry for the pain you suffered, I am happy to report I have never had that experience. But I will always keep your warning in mind whenever I iron. Which is hardly ever.

Seems most people don't iron anymore but I use mostly cotton so it is a necessity

I don't iron a lot anymore for myself but did a lot of it daily when I worked outside the home for most of my life. I had to look sharp for work.
