What's everyone do during the day while their partner works? / myLot

My boyfriend manages a liquor store from 9am-5pm while I stay home with our son. I'm trying to find other ideas to do without having to leave the house. Any DIY's for kids? Do you just sit home on the couch and watch tv? Do you have any routines? Do you go for walks? Or read books? Maybe even sleep all day. Do you have a daily job too?

This would be hard for me. I would try when weather permits to get outside,take walks, go to the park.

Why do you refuse to leave the house? Can't you get into contact with other women who have children of the same age?

Both of us work, we have our offices near each other so we go home at the same time, have same shift hours so it's not hard for us. We are just getting married and I wonder if I will still work if we already have kids.

Well the good thing is your boyfriend is home with you at the evening..glad he is not gone all night. You could go for walks...that is what I did when my son was a child and a baby..in the stroller even..we went absolutely everywhere, not spending money just walking by the river or other places.
