How many people live in your home?

Nairobi, Kenya
September 4, 2017 2:34am CST
We are five in our family. Mother father and three children. I'm the first born. I have a brother and sister. They will soon be four when I move out and I hope they will miss me. Tell me about your household. How many are you?

I live by myself (with my dog), but growing up I lived with my parents and older sister. My mom passed away a couple of years ago, and I miss her.

@mildredtabitha I don't think so. I live in a one bedroom apartment, so that limits the space.

Right now, it's my husband and I, along with our five kids. It's just the five of us.

@sishy7 Yes, I meant three kids. Lol. Thanks for catching that. @mildredtabitha We're five total. Sorry I made a mistake. I meant we have three kids, and we're a family of five. I must have been pretty tired when I wrote the comment.

I live alone in a one-room apartment but it is more than adequate for one person. How many rooms does your home have?

@mildredtabitha Do you mean 4 rooms or 4 bedrooms? I would probably add a wife.

@1hopefulman It has four rooms only and is very full. :) If you had a choice to add one member in your home, who would it be?

We used to be a nine member in our family. Me, my three brothers, three sisters, mom and dad. Right now, my mom and dad come and go to our house in the province. So almost all the time no person is living in our home. We are all living now in the city. We still see each other on the weekends and on birthdays.

@mildredtabitha Well I miss it a lot. But when my eldest sister went to college, almost every 2 years someone will say bye to our home. Until our youngest and only my parents were left there to live by themselves.

My family consists of me, my husband, my college-aged son and my high school-aged son. My college-aged son is away at college during the week, but, thankfully, he attends a university that's close enough to our house that he can come home every weekend. Oh, we also have a cat!

We are down to 3 now. Hubby, me and our daughter Tessa who is 10. It used to be 9 then all the older ones moved out. We have 6 girls and 2 boys. We also took in kids that used to stay with us for a time. At one point there was 12 of us here.

@mildredtabitha With my health this is a lot more calm well except for home schooling. So I would have to say now however we have 20 grandbabies and another on the way so when it is nice and we have get togethers it is like it was. So I still have both worlds.
