This scary festival is around the corner, are you planning of having a party? Do you make your own halloween costumes, rent them ir buy them? Here in my country, we don`t celebrate Halloween because of some religious rules. However, there are pubs and home parties going on to celebrate Halloween privately. I did pumpkin cake, pumpkin biscuits and Halloween crafts to celebrate Halloween at home , just between my kids and me. Spiders and skulls or zombies are out of sight. Do share how you celebrate it.

We don't celebrate Helloween but some people have a party and wear a costume.

There are trick and treats here but personally I don't participate. At work, they have theme days.

Over here, we do have trick and treaters with kids and families in their costumes. Sometimes pets too. But no one tricks or tricks at my apartment, when there's a lot of single people and couples here. Some senior citizens too.

@peachpurple Maybe so. In my former apartment, if you wanted trick-and-treaters to stop by, you would pin an apple or a pumpkin on the door. Not of us are rich though.

Our plans are always the same, we stay home and pass out candy to all the children:) It's my favorite holiday, because it's for the children!

I don't celebrate Halloween because I don't think it's a good thing to celebrate witches and ghosts or anything evil. I don't make a big deal of it usually, but you asked.

We do not celebrate Halloween in Switzerland, some people organize home parties for the kids. I will make a dinner for us with some decorations, just because I like.

Due to a bad economy my relatives do not spend money on buying candy for the trick and treaters in our neighborhood.

It has been a long time since I have done anything on Halloween.Since I don't have very many neighbors; I have only had 2 trick or treaters in the past 30 years.
