Just when I thought everything was OK

So other than our carport being ripped to shreds, we started having trouble with the TV last night.
We thought it was the cable box so we took it back to the cable company and got another one. That worked and we were happy. This morning we put the TV on and the electric was out.
We called the electric company and our electric is under ground that runs from outside to the house. The men had a hard time finding the connection. When they did it was under a big amount of water and cracked in two.
The manager of the community says we have to pay for the repair. They knew there was a problem but did nothing about when my husband reported it months ago.
I can see a problem brewing.

I hate it when people knew something is wrong but they turn blind to fixing things.

Oh lovely! They knew about the problem and did nothing, so now you are on the hook. That is a problem.

@JamesHxstatic I never heard of anyone having this problem here either. It is one of the better communities here in Florida.
