That wouldn't be for me either. But I do know people who are married to actors . . . but they don't have a problem with it because their spouses don't get those kinds of roles

@Kandae11 There's one couple that I know - the husband is the actor . . . the couple as individuals are very different from each other as the wife is very conservative. Quite frankly I don't know how she is comfortable being married to such an obnoxious guy

, but I don't know how she'd feel if he ever got a role to play a romantic part

You are perfectly right, not all actors would get those roles, but most do have some kind of involvement - even action stars.

@1hopefulman I usually fast forward with my handy remote. That is one reason I choose carefully which movies I watch in a cinema - can't fast forward there.

It happens so often - but there are a few lasting ones like Kurt Russel and Goldie Hawn - even though they never married - and Paul Newman and his wife - who was also an actress.

I used to spend a lot of time looking at entertainment reports on afternoon TV. I would see happy looking actors and wives or actresses and husbands attending movie premieres - starring one or the other . Movies in which these actors or actresses are involved in passionate love scenes with a co star - and I have often wondered how their spouses could feel comfortable watching.

@Kandae11 I think you need to know and trust the person you're married to enough to be able to handle that kind of scene. A person who lacks confidence isn't going to be comfortable, but jealousy will rage out of control.

Nope.I am the jealous type.It would finish me and its like stubbing my heart.Imagining another woman experiencing my husband's touches...I cant.I will just pass on when i meet an actor.
