After my breakfast, I received a message from a relative with a heading URGENT WARNING. Letters are all capitalized. The message states: URGENT WARNING! Be careful not to take the paracetamol that comes written P / 500. It is a new, very white and shiny paracetamol, doctors advise that it contains "Machupo" virus, considered one of the most dangerous viruses in the world, with a high mortality rate. Please share this message, with all people on your contact list as well as family, and save a life or lives ....I've done my part, now it's your turn ... remember that God helps those who help others & themselves! Forward as received. First thing, that came to mind, is to search Google. I found an article that says it is a HOAX. Reference:
Hoax warnings claim that paracetamol (or acetaminophen) is contaminated with a dangerous virus.

@jobelbojel I keep receiving so many of those sort of messages insisting that you pass them on. I wonder if the senders find them on Youtube or some special site.

@jobelbojel I have passed on misleading information before and I wasn't happy. So, now I check out things in case the piece of information is true and important and needs to be shared. Before I yell fire, I will make sure there is a fire and if there is one then I will sound the alarm.

@1hopefulman it would be a nice practice. There are lots of things on FB alone. I don't buy in information I read on FB at least not all.

They love to spread that hoax on Facebook. I'm sure that our health department would have issued a warning if it were true and not on a chain mail.

It's a HOAX, it's already made public that this was a fake piece of news and I hope that the idiots who spread such rumors will be punished because this can cause a serious damage to a company.

All I know is the generics paracetamols could kill me but I am ok with branded paracetamols. So it may be TRUE but not all brands of paracetamol.
