Hey everyone. It is almost bedtime for me. I wanted to spend a few more minutes here before bed because earlier today I had a bad migraine and couldn't be here. I saw spots in front of my eyes, felt nauseous, and my head was spinning. It was horrible and scary. =(
Thank God it is gone now. I didn't get the things done that I wanted to today because of it...guess I'm not superwoman after all. Oh well, there's always tomorrow or another day.
My husband has to work in the morning for a bit tomorrow but after that we might take the kids to the park down the street from us. =)

@andriaperry Thank you, it's much better now. Just feels like some pressure at the moment in my head but nothing like earlier.

Resting is the best thing when you have a migraine. I hope that you are back up to speed today.

@hatley Yeah, but I have had these migraine things since I was 8 years old. The doctors just don't know why or what causes them.

@Ricki_911 I don't know. I get these every year, sometimes twice a year. The doctors ran all kinds of tests on me when I was hospitalized for them at 8 years old.
They couldn't find a reason that I get them or what triggers them.
Thanks I will either tomorrow or Monday.

@LovingMyBabies Just the other day I was teaching my son how to play foosball! I used to play quite a bit back in my college days. You know, when I should have been studying instead! haha

I read the other day that magnesium oil (applied to the skin) can be really good for migraines. Apparently the majority of us are seriously deficient in magnesium because we used to get it from food but now the soil is so depleted that we get almost none, and this can be responsible for a lot of different problems. My mam and my aunty suffer with migraines, my nana does as well but she gets them without head pain. I've had a few but not regularly, but it's horrible isn't it

Sorry to hear you had that terrible headache. My daughter has migraines, sometimes more than one a week, where she is up all night with terrible nausea and pain. She has prescriptions that are supposed to help prevent them, but they don't work too well.
