It was perhaps true 100 years ago where tattoos were a reserved domain for soldiers and prisoners, but these ladies should evolve and look around them. I think I would have told them that I had escaped from jail and they should better not repeat it.

That was a display of ignorance, on her part! One time, I was struggling with a two year old at my side and carrying my infant daughter towards our car. An older lady looked at me in disgust and said, 'You ought to be ashamed of yourself! You're only a child, yourself!' I was dumbfounded, then replied, 'I'm 24 years old, a married woman!' Her face looked shocked, she turned around quickly, then walked away in a hurry, realizing she was in error

@hillhjill People need to keep their thoughts inside their stupid heads. For her to speak out about your tattoos, was rude, mean, and totally wrong!

Yeah that was very wrong of them to be like that but some people just are like that I guess..well his heart is not leaking bad enough at the moment that he don't have to have to surgery but the doctor wants to keep an eye on him just to be safe.

One time, my aunt and uncle were dining out, with their son Richard, who had cerebral palsy. One man walked over to their table and firmly informed them, they shouldn't have Richard out in a public restaurant, because he made others sick, watching him eat:(

@hillhjill That is just rude Hillary. So you have tatoos. That is not their business. I guess they had to have something to talk about so when they saw your tatoos they had to comment.

You know the thing that stuns me? I can see someone thinking it, but to actually say it out loud where you could hear it??? I wonder if those old bags say "There's an illegal alien" if they hear someone speaking Spanish or "There's a welfare recipient" if they see a black person. I don't personally have any tattoos (and I was in the Navy for six years, go figure!!), but as long as you're not imposing a tattoo on me then I'm not going to impose my no tattoos on you! Live and let live, folks! Sheesh!!

With the way the world is changing sometimes it is good just to note something and keep quiet. You just don't use the background or exposure or lack of it to judge other people.

I would have said excuse me but people all over the world have tattoos where have you been living under a rock if so go crawl back under there for another 100 years But people will judge for what you do or what you do not do so the best advice I give people give people is do you because at the end of the day the choice is yours Not anyone elses so to heck with them. You Are a Individual a Unique people are gonna hate on you no matter what so as long as you are happy with who you are then that is all that matters in Life really.

Actually if you want to get technical you're being judgmental as well by saying that them saying those things are wrong. Everyone has a right to their opinion. If you look at the history of tattoos they use to only be used by those who practiced dark arts. So in a way they could be wrong.
