I am sure this has been talked about before, but I guess I'll inquire anyway. If you could go back in time to witness an amazing event (a positive one), what event would you choose? My first thought was maybe something to do with Jesus. If I went with that I would probably pick His ascension into Heaven. Although seeing Lazarus come forth would have been amazing. If I excluded Bible times I might choose when the Wright brothers first got a plane into the air. We are so used to flying we don't even think about the wonder of having large objects in the air. Of course their success started with a small aircraft, but it still must have been awe inducing. I look forward to reading your choices.

I've thought about this often . . . there would be too many to want to see! I know you said positive, but I would love to go through all the controversies that exist today and see for myself what "really" happened - I'd want to know the truth about these stories. But for one positive event, I'd have to say seeing how the Pyramids in Egypt were really built !

I would love to go back as one of the shepherds who followed the star to see the new born baby Jesus. It would be even more exciting if I knew then what we know now.

I don't think there really is a moment in time I feel the need to see. I know there've been a lot of good moments that are worthy of reliving.. The Berlin Wall coming down, the end of each war, end of slavery and segregation.. but these moments were both good and bad as there were still so many people opposed to each thing that although the moment was good, it was fraught with danger as well... although hasn't just about every moment in our history been fraught with danger? I'm happy just traveling around and being able to see some wonderful historical sights. I know I haven't done a lot of traveling yet, but I hope someday I'm able to see some of these amazing sights.

Hmmm...this is definitely a thought-provoking question! There are so many things I would like to go back and witness first hand, but if the passage of time didn't matter, I would love to go back millions of years and watch the Earth form and witness how life evolved.

It's the Marcos regime that I want to see but don't want to experience. I just want to find out the truth about our former dictator.

I would have liked to meet Dr. W. Larimer Mellon Jr., one my many heroes.
In 1947, as a 37-year-old rancher in Arizona, [Dr. Mellon] became engrossed with the life and work of Dr. Schweitzer, the Alsatian medical missionary, philosopher and musician whose hospital at Lambarene, in what is now Gabon, had become world famous. Dr.

I would love to see Leonardo Da Vinci writing his notes in reverse, mirror image. I would also like to assist at a speech of Julius Caesar, or have a look at Cleopatra.

I've no idea what I'd go back to see, but probably something to do with Jesus. It would have been awesome to be at the river when God spoke from the heavens that Jesus is his beloved son. Another time would be when Jesus spoke to the storm and quieted the seas after being awakened by his apostles when he was sleeping.
