Lost a shoulder on the Train

Philippines
November 14, 2017 8:31am CST
I just learned from the local news over here that some one from the MRT lost an entire SHOULDER. The woman started feeling dizzy walking about she's about to faint. She almost went down the rails but the supervisor was able to save her. Base on the statement of the Train staff, no one pushed her. They weren't much passengers for a few people to witness. Maybe it's time for the MRT staff to put some steel bars or glass walls/ doors and will only opened when the train arrives. When I used to ride the train, there's always been fear of accidentally falling into the Platform. Never Loose your focus when your near the train.

We have rails and people watching in the main stations. But in the small ones, in the small towns, anything could happen.

Hello @marguicha They should be mindful of kids in the small stations. Anything can happen means the area can be dangerous to those who are not careful.

@Letranknight2015 True. Yet there are so many potentially dangerous things everywhere that people have to be careful too. At the Metro here, there is a yellow line we must not cross. Every 2 or 3 meters there is a guard. But some people, specially youngsters, wait a step past the limit. They want to get the best places, I suppose.

One should think of his safety himself. Moreover government should also ensure that they take good safety measures for the passengers

I think the government is doing something, the only problem is that they are too slow @sjvg1976 . And when one problem is solved a new one arises.

Her life won't be the same @Letranknight2015 . I read a report that the MRT will be paying for her prosthetic arm, not sure if it is true. I've included here in my prayers.
