Why Did They Do It?

I am keen to go out suddenly just for a walk. But then I suddenly remember a few odd stories.
- One woman often had a nap at that time of the day, but that afternoon, suddenly she wanted to sweep her driveway and told her daughter so. She just began the task for a few minutes when a car lost control and whacked into her driveway, killed her instantly.
- That family saved money for years to go visit relatives in Europe. They finally boarded the airplane. That airplane crashed.
- etc
Was it just coincident that that woman was killed when she decided to break her routine a bit that day?

I ended up feeding the kitten and playing 'hide and seek' with it instead! (The kitten hid in corners showing one of its white paws while twitching its black tail excitedly out of the hiding place thinking no one could see it!)

@YrNemo It's unbelievable that these things happen. But in cases like that, it's usually not about their circumstances that led to the killings . . . rather they became random victims of the killer as they happened to be together at that particular time and place. How very sad in any case - no one ever expects to die suddenly that way!

Just a coincidence, not bad luck from changing a routine. These things happen everyday.

@YrNemo Not really, I would rather go fast than to suffer year and years knowing I will die sooner than later. Its fast and over, my time to go.

So sad when awful things like that happen unexpectedly. But I also heard stories of the opposite thing happening, like someone who was supposed to board a plane decided at the last minute not to board it and the plane crashed. That kind of thing.

I believe more in Fate than coincidence. There is no wrong place at the wrong time, simply the right place at the right time.

How destiny or fate managed to lure certain group of people onto a doomed flight, or similar event which ended their lives, THAT I think is creepy!

There was a case in which a maid who often went out every Thursday night with her boyfriend but that night, she didn't because her boyfriend worked shift. She was killed. They guessed it was the ex husband of her employer who killed the maid by accident. The case was never proved and the ex husband couldn't be found. (He seemed to change name etc and moved to another country.)
