Hello everyone. I hope your day is off to a great start. It is a gray and cloudy but warm morning here at the Jersey Shore. The temperature is currently 60 degrees F which about as "cold" as I ever want it to get. Winter just isn't for me.
I am home from work today on doctor's orders due to having pink eye. After 3 doses of antibiotic drops, the redness is starting to fade a little. I was able to sleep in which was nice. My husband is working from home today so he doesn't have to deal with the crazy holiday traffic. The only thing I have on the agenda is a doctor's appointment at noon. Other than that I am free for the rest of the day. Oh and making the mashed potatoes to bring to Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow. That's it.

Ugh sorry to hear of the pink eye. Hope it goes away stat. Things are good here, just at the gym. Also you might be happy to know I started your Outlander book (only on page 35 - out of 840 pages in the paperback), so good so far! (Thanks again for the suggestion)

Paying a bill, doing some food shopping..and making phone calls. I am not sure what the temp is outside here but it is pretty mild. Tgiving day will be cold though and they said the weekend will be as well.

Well I hope your pink eye goes away soon that's the worst to deal with. I wouldn't want to be in holiday traffic either which is one reason why i do not go shopping on thanksgiving or black friday. I do have to go out on friday though to a birthday party but that's about it. Hoping not much traffic late afternoon.

Pinkeye, blech. Had that when my son was in kindergarten, so uncomfortable. If only the day off was due to something fun!
My daughter is making her special mashed potatoes tomorrow. Other than that, our food is coming from Raley's. We were NONE of us into cooking this year, lol.. Today I just have to vacuum, and sweep the leaves out of our driveway before more rain comes. And I'm gonna write down some family info for my daughter's mother in law. She is going to give my mom a family tree type thing for Christmas.
