No Laundry Today

So, my plan was to get to my daughter's first thing this morning - check, did that - door locked. She forgot to leave it open for me. I just left her a message that I will NEED to do laundry first thing Monday morning. Can't do it tomorrow or Friday, and unable to do it there on the weekend, so that means I'll have two full loads on Monday to do. It also means 4 hours in a cold house as she doesn't turn the heat on when no one is home, which makes perfect sense. I don't either. Though I now have mine on. Hopefully soon I will start to feel the warmth here as it's very cold outside.
My rest of the day's plans - get the garbage out, clean up the kitchen, vacuum, dust, decorate the tree, and write a minimum of 4K words. I don't know how much I will be here tomorrow, or how much time I will have on Friday as I'm cooking for my boys on Friday. So Thanksgiving on two days. Also clean the bathroom. I'm estimating a half day to get it all done for the house chores, writing will take another four hours minimum as I write about a thousand words an hour.
So that is what my day is going to be today. First up will be getting these notifications done, and then on to the house.

You need a washer and dryer badly! I could not allow my mother to be cold in my house whether I was there or not. One day will not kill her budget to keep you warm.

Thanksgiving for me is really a quiet day though we will eat well. I've made the cherry pie. Today I'm messing with cats other wise its pretty sedate. Got to go to Home Depot before supper and that could make me grouchy! (Hate waiting for supper.)

It was. Since standing is a problem for me. I did a little, wrote a little, and in so doing I got my daily goals met with my writing and got everything except the tree decorated and the vacuuming done. I'll do that today when I get home from my sister's.

@Courtlynn Thanks. I'm home now and I'm not decorating the tree today. I will need to do it first thing tomorrow. My knees have had it for today. So, while everything is cooking for tomorrow's Thanksgiving with my boys, I'll decorate the tree and get the vacuuming done.
It was a good Thanksgiving with my family at my Sister's.

I am thankful that I have a washing machine and dryer. There is so much laundry to do in this house that I would be at the laundromat at least twice a week if I didn't have my own machines. That isn't an easy task to accomplish when you have a 2 year old to chase around!

I think I would have just gone to the laundromat to do my laundry. I think as you continue to lose weight you may find that the stairs don't hurt your knees as much.

I'm already seeing that, but as the arthritis is so bad, the last two days took a toll on them with all the standing and walking around I did. They're still a bit sore this morning, but I won't be doing much more than sitting here at the computer today. I will get up and walk around to keep them from getting too stiff.

To you as well. I never take my jacket off when I'm at her house. Yes, it is frustrating, but I have enough clothes to see me through to Monday, thankfully.
