Nov 27 - How often do you burn midnight oil?

It is past 2am in the morning, I am still here at Mylot.
Yes, it is very late, I am burning the midnight oil today because I had to help my teen to find answers to past year questions for her degree exam. She is working full-time, studying part-time for her degree course. SO, I had to help her out in order for her to take a rest after work. Otherwise she will stress out. I don't want her to induce depression state.
I don't mind burning the oil for her sake.
How often do you burn the midnight oil?

Lately I have been very good and am in bed by midnight. I prefer to get enough sleep during the night. It's good for me.

I don't have one, I simply go with the flow and once in a while I hit the sack around 4am @1hopefulman

At least once a week I will get caught up in reading and end up burning the midnight oil but not last night.

@rebelann I have been known to do that as well but it has been a while since I have seen anything on TV that has interested me enough to stay up late.

I stream shows that I choose @BelleStarr right now I'm watching the Good Wife and it's much more interesting than I thought it would be.

Sometimes I stay up late and do some mylotting but usually I'm in bed by 10pm watching TV so that I can go to sleep.

I did that often when one of my kids needed help with maths. He used to laugh at me thinking mom didn't know anything, but then for year 12 maths, the extremely hard problems, he had no choice but asked mom to help. I was very pleased that I could still do them.

@peachpurple Maths is simple and straightforward. I wish life could be like maths! (That would save us lots of trouble then!)

I try not to burn the midnight oil too often but some nights it can't be helped. Hope your daughter does well with her exam

That is good, my daughter used to stay awake until 12am, woke up at 5am for school
