Good morning.I feel good doing something for the food pantry here. They had a big sale on pasta and soup. Doing something like this makes me happy to help someone. I will be buying another batch for the homeless. You will be amazed doing something like this. The feelings. are you doing anything for the homeless or donate to the food pantry. Big sale on pasta and soup. Photo is mine

We donate to the local food bank on a regular basis about 4 times a year. Now they have bags all made up, with different prices on them, that you can purchase right with your groceries and they see to it that the donation goes over for you. They get a list of what is needed.

The local grocery stores collect food for people in need. I bought a lot of pasta two weeks ago in Italy, pasta is cheap there and they offered two packages for the price of one.

@amadeo Most pasta in Italy is made in the region where your parents were born Alfredo. It's the best pasta.

I've heard about it today, but haven't given it a lot of thought. The food pantry and homeless shelter is a good idea.

Super. I give money to our local food bank, which they prefer, so they can buy from a company in bulk, which costs less money in the long run. This way they can purchase fresh meats, fresh fruits, and fresh vegetables, etc. We send in a monthly donation year round.

We have The Letter Carriers' “Stamp Out Hunger” Food Drive here. Mailmen in trucks pick up our food donations that we place by our mailbox. A great way to help.
