Just waiting for the hockey game

I know there are not many hockey fans here but being Canadian I was raised watching Hockey Night in Canada on Saturday night. I have so many great memories of those times with my dad cheering on our favorite team, The Montreal Canadiens. Tonight the Canadiens will be playing Detroit and I will still be cheering them on after all these years.
While I am waiting i decided to drop in and say hi. I had a really good day. I drove my grand daughter home at 2. We had a wonderful time together. Pixie Dust hid away in het bag and went home with her. She will be excited when she discovers her.
My decorating is almost done. I will finish it up tomorrow. There are lots of lights around the neighborhood now. Everything looks so colorful and pretty.

My family didn't watch much sports on television. My wife's family though followed the Canadiens quite faithfully. I do enjoy sports though and watch clips of most of the major sports regularly. We don't have television otherwise I probably would.

We had a wonderful Saturday, the weather is a bit cooler today. One little boy that I watched at the daycare center, is playing professional hockey for the Detroit Red-Wings! His family is so proud:)

I think hockey should be experienced in person. When I was in my twenties, my boyfriend wanted me to go to a game. I went, but I wasn't very happy about it. That changed once I was there.
It was extremely exciting, and if I remember correctly, I did some yelling along with everyone else.

Saturday was fine. Got a chance to train again in my old boxing gym. Not much happened after my training and slept early.
Right now, I'm watching the four NBA games that are playing. Cavs-Grizzlies have 28 seconds remaining in the game and the 76ers-Pistons game is drawing to a close as well. Both the Buck-Kings and Nuggets-Lakers are in the early part of the game.
