Ummm I know some people really like her, many of you may not be old enough to remember her show...but it was quite popular in the 1970's. The thing that always bugged me about that show was that although they had some funny bits...the actors were always laughing. To me that was pretty unprofessional and ruined the scenes. I watched a few minutes of the special but that is enough for me...Did you watch or are you watching it:

That's so funny because that's what I loved about the show, that they couldn't keep a straight face. I can easily see why people would dislike that though. I only caught it in reruns, but it always made me laugh.

I just watched the clip and it was pretty funny. I'm not sure I'd want to watch a whole show of it.

I am one of those people that love the show. No matter if they laugh, I get it and I am laughing. Tom Conway was the best.

How I love that show. We watch it in our black & white TV back then. One of the funniest episode was when Harvey Korman needed to have a tooth extraction and Tim Conway was the dentist. It was hilarious.

I don't have cable so I won't see it until it's on either Netflix, Amazon or Hulu. The show was pretty funny in it's day but I don't know if I want to see an 84 year old Burnett trying to do comedy again.
