My fond memories are similar, my grandma had a farm. I spent time with her often and loved it! When my kids were growing up, those were golden years. When Dad's diagnosis for cancer was negative, I was thrilled!

What lovely memories . . . oh yah, I'll bet living on that apple farm was wonderful, healthy living. Living where we do, there's almost no such thing as simple living anymore - especially for kids these days.

Yes, God bless you. For years I've gone to apple orchards, big and small, and gotten apples. We freeze them and make applesauce and pies. For a few years my Mom and I gleaned apples from folks who let their fallen apples just sit and got. Very tasty applesauce from those fallen apples.
