My fond memories are similar, my grandma had a farm. I spent time with her often and loved it! When my kids were growing up, those were golden years. When Dad's diagnosis for cancer was negative, I was thrilled!

Yes, God bless you. For years I've gone to apple orchards, big and small, and gotten apples. We freeze them and make applesauce and pies. For a few years my Mom and I gleaned apples from folks who let their fallen apples just sit and got. Very tasty applesauce from those fallen apples.

I grew up on a farm too and it was just the best place to be. I have wonderful memories of that time.

Lovely writing and loved to read about the Farm you were on and about Garland recovering from his illness also.
Those are great memories.
