One thing I really like about Epson is that they provide free phone support for the lifetime of the product. Most companies including HP want to charge you after the first year of the product. Other printers like MFC seem to look at phone support as a moneymaking opportunity. It is a relief to have this because I wanted to be able to print resumes..and other things. It really wasn't hard to do, but it was made much simpler by the printer support people to walk me through it. I was worried I would have to do a re creation or pay money to have it transferred onto this chromebook. I might pay a transfer fee sometime as there are pics I want on the old puter..but so happy to have the printer hooked up! Do you like phone support? Do you find it helpful?

I have never used phone support for my printer, it is an HP and I have had many of them over the years.

My HP is OK, but it started to malfunction after a few years of use. I would like to sell it really because I am not using it.

I'm glad you got your printer hooked up to your Chromebook. I just looked at mine and it doesn't look like it's doable. I always prefer talking to a live person.

@just4him It isn't hard to do. Do you have a wireless connection?

I like it even though it is an ink jet. I buy generic cartridges for it,,so it isn't that expensive really.

I know some phone support people are incredibly friendly and helpful. It makes such a difference doesn't it?
