Woke Up Deader Today

I love my sleep, I can sleep for 10 -12 hours, Last night I felt so bad I went to bed around 9:30 pm and I could not lay flat and breathe, so I piled up pillows and slept sitting up. Sorta.
I was freezing and then red hot, I had congestion blocking my airway. I woke just about every hour, coughed up that mess and went back to bed. I took medication just about right on time because I would wake up. Once I had to turn down the heat to 60 because I just could not breathe.
I feel tired and beat down from the lack of good sleep.
My temp is 99.0 and I am about to take a bath and go to the doctors office, if I cannot get in I will go to the E.R.
First thing Tony said this morning was I cant breathe, he is going in also, just because of having lung cancer. I don`t feel comfortable when he tells me he cannot breathe.
I seen on the news where this is "stuff" is running crazy in Florida, Alabama, Georgia and Mississippi. I just after all these years I was bound to get it.

@DianneN Yes they are, the shots are working and I can breathe better right this minute.

When I took off for the doctor it was up to 100.2, low grade fever means something is wrong.

@shaggin Yes a bacteria infect called the flu! But thye call it acute bronchitis and I was put on medication and told to stay away from people.

That is how I wanted Tony but he wants to mingle. Me I am in the public all the time but this bug got me.

Sorry you're feeling so bad, and I hope your doctor was able to see you so you didn't have to go to the ER.
Our family all got hit a few weeks ago with some kind of bug. Thanfuly ours was short lived.

That's rough when you are both feeling so under the weather.
I hope that this evening you are starting to feel a tad better.
If its any consolation, both my husband and I felt like that this week.
I'm on the mend, but I came down with it a few days before he did.

Tony was sick a few days before me but he is already on steroids and takes immune therapy twice a month. Me? Getting any type of lung infection makes me even sicker because I have asthma ( I have not had an attack in over 20 years) I got shots, breathing treatments and medications.

Feel great this Friday evening. Will sleep for long hours tonight since tomorrow is Saturday.
