My husband is such a nut and what your about to read will prove it!!
So, he found a steam cleaner at the curb around the block from where we live. He likes to fix things and we have been looking for one so he thought why not?
He didn't put it IN our truck, he decided to roll it home while driving slow, holding it out the window.
One of the neighbors were staring at him like he's crazy so he says to them, don't mind me- just walking the steam cleaner since it doesn't like to stay home while we're gone! 
I almost peed myself and they were hysterically laughing!!

@LovingMyBabies It's another name for hazelnuts, and I was pretty sure his name wasn't Hazel. You did, after all, say he was a nut.

Our neighbor lady use to throw perfectly good things away, in the trash! She put a nice rug out for the garbage man and I asked if we could please have it. Joann said, 'Oh, sure! I don't want it.' It was in good shape!
