She's not feeling

My second daughter isn't feeling well. Earlier, she came up and asked for something to drink and I felt her forehead, which felt warm. I gave her some water. She went upstairs for a while. When she came down with her dory stuffy and her blanket, she laid on the couch and she has been sleeping on and off since. She has mostly been sleeping though. I feel bad for her, as I don't like it when my kids are sick. I hope that the sleep helps and she feels better tomorrow. Depending on how she feels tomorrow, I might keep her home, while my other two go to school or daycare. We'll just have to see what happens. For the moment, I'll just bring her up to her bed and let her sleep. I know it's early (it's not even 6 as I'm writing this), but if she's not feeling well, I'd much rather her get the extra sleep.

When my son feels sick, I let him a day off from school the next day, better to let your child sleep longer

That is definitely a good way of doing it. Sometimes, it is better to play it safe.

Sleep is the best thing for any illness, if one can get it. Cells restore and repair during sleep. Hopefully she'll feel better tomorrow.

Sleep really does make us feel better. It gives our bodies a chance to just get over whatever is going. I am hoping she is better tomorrow too. She is in bed now, but I am keeping an eye on her. I won't be far tonight.

I hope that this passes, poor little girl. I think its wise that you put her into bed to sleep it off. Sometimes kids get better as quickly as they got sick, so let's hope for that for her. And for your sake!

I hope it passes too. It just didn't seem to keep her awake, if she wasn't feeling well. So, off to bed. We'll have to see tomorrow what happens. Maybe she'll feel better.

When one of my kids slept during the daytime, I knew they weren't feeling good. I sure hope your daughter is doing a lot better, tomorrow.

I hope she feels better tomorrow too. She didn't seem well. Sleeping during the day is a good sign they're not feeling well. Plus, she told me she wasn't feeling well when I asked.

I absolutely agree. It's what I usually do when they don't feel well. I put her to bed early, and she felt better this morning.

Sleep did seem to help. The fever seemed to be gone, and when I asked her how she was feeling, she gave me a thumbs up. So that was good.

I hope she feels better soon. I stayed in bed most of the time the whole week when I was sick with coughs and colds before Christmas.
