What Was For Dinner At Angie`s House?

I had originally planned to fry me some chicken, its been a while since I had any good fried chicken but that got changed in one stop and one circle of his electric wheelchair.
Tony picked out two types of fish, Whiting and Cod, it was a buy one get one free deal so he got 2 pounds for $7.99.
I ended up cooking whiting for dinner with French fries. Not the healthiest meal but it was okay for me and him so two meals was not cooked tonight.
I am sure I have had it before.
Whiting is very fishy, smelling and tasting. But sea fish is always like this.
I think I am spoiled by fresh water fish.
Ever ate whiting?

I have no idea what whiting is. Actually I don't know a lot of fish but I just eat them and when they taste good then they become my favorite like Blue Marlin. I love blue marlin and I love to eat a sizzling blue marlin. We prefer to eat sea fish rather than fresh water fish.

Yes, I have had it. It's OK. I had some leftover hamburger helper with broccoli.

@andriaperry The fish I hated and would never buy again was flounder..there was something wrong with the texture..frozen, thawed and frozen I think..it was pure mush..a miserable experience..

I would rather have saltwater fish than fresh water. I'll eat tilapia- but it's not my favorite and I will never eat mullet again after working in a bait shop.

@andriaperry You may of if you have ever been to a fish fry. Its the most common fish fried around here. Besides catfish- which I am also not crazy about but will eat.

I think I had one time years ago when I made oven fried fish, it was the cheapest fish in the store.

Never had whiting, but the local ocean fish have little smell if they are fresh. (Petrale sole, Ling cod, rock fish).
