This Is Life

This is life ... today, anyways. White. Cold. Windy. But its is not that bad if I had the clothing that the people in the north have for winter. I think the wind is the worst.
The cat wanted out, till he seen the snow on the deck, he came back inside. We did this what seems like 100 times, I had already gotten him a small box of dirt to use just in case he would not go out. He woke me at nine am standing by my bedroom door meowing, wanting out. I opened the door and he wanted to backtrack but I made him go out, if he had not used the dirt its been almost 24 hours since he went to pee and poop, I guess he is mad because he won`t come when I call now. Spooky is an outside cat but sometimes when its cold I let him inside.
The dogs are funny, Harley hates snow as much as I do and will peek out of the dog house and run backwards back in, Roscoe comes running out, does a few donuts and runs back in, then sticks his head out of the covered door. I don`t worry about the dogs being cold because they have each other, I have their house fixed up for them. But if we continue to have winters like this one I will have to make it better so this summer I will build them a different dog house, big like they have now but different.
I have not went out yet, I will in a couple hours to make sure the dogs have water, I know they have food, they have a feeder and can eat whenever they want.
Well that is all that is going on so far and its nice and boring and drama free, just how I like things.

Earlier it was snowing lightly but now the sun is out and the temperature is about 15 F. If one is dressed warmly then it is a pleasant day. I will be going back out soon for a couple of more hours.
I was driving my friend's car as he doesn't like to drive and it was a bit slippery and had to keep a good distance from the car ahead of me.

My world is white also and we got more snow than originally anticipated.
One of our dogs hates the snow and the other loves it. Our male dog doesnt even want to put his paw in it never mind do his business while the little female will jump into it and kick it all around lol

It has warmed up a bit in Michigan. Last night we got most of the snow removed, from the driveway and those paths we walk on. I use a wide snow shovel and Jay used his snow-blower, for the deeper mounds. All in all, this is a pretty good day, God is taking care of everything. We're suppose to have another January thaw, over the weekend.

For the last couple of days it had been really col and gloomy but finally today, the 18th day of the year, the sun is finally out and shining brightly.

We had some heavy wind today and got some snow but not too much. During the wee hours of this morning, Sid would go out then come in with ice cold paws and sleep on my hip. Right now our Wednesday is over and he is curled up on the bed. I will watch a movie and then turn in. Hope you all stay warm and safe.

No they wont stay inside. This is just a passing cold front its leaving in another day, back to 50`s and 60`s.
