Ahhhhh! A little extra sleep!!!!!

Nothing is worse for me than change. I'm like a cat, I don't like change. I've had my fill of it the past three months. From having my house burn down with all my stuff in it, to sleeping in a new bed, to going up and visiting Bill's daughter.... Its all change. The hardest part is going from sleeping on my nice comfortable heated waterbed to sleeping on a conventional box spring and mattress that I swear was from a recycled air craft carrier deck. My sleep hasn't been very good. This morning I was up a few minutes after 7a.m.. I sat on the couch and started drifting off to sleep. So I grabbed a blanket and throw pillow and stretched out on the floor. I finally got some extra sleep! I woke up feeling g pretty good. Bill was in his seat by the window reading, he promptly came to me when he knew I was awake. He was a bit annoyed that I didn't go back to bed, but I don't have the guts to tell him his bed is awful!!!! The extra sleep has helped my outlook some. I just need to contact my attorney about clearing the lot of all the debris from the fire. I'm hoping that my neighbor whose place also burned down in the fire will help me out with the clean up. We both got stuck with the horrible mess and the HOA is only telling us we need to get it cleaned up and that's as far as their help goes. Oh and one of them spouting that it's impossible that we couldn't get insurance on the places. Oh well I'll worry about that later. Right now I'm hungry and French toast sounds good! Have a great day! Hugs to all my myLot friends!

Sorry you are having to go through all this . . . it's been a rough few months to say the least. The place you sleep is so personal . . . very important that you are comfortable so you can get in that good sleep. I hope you continue to get better sleep and that you get help with the clean up!!

I'm not a creature of change either. We've lived in this house for 21 years and my husband keeps suggesting we downsize (a way to get the kids to move out). I lived my whole childhood in the same home. I was never uprooted, never had to make new friends, get used to a new school, etc. I spent my first relationship/marriage moving several times. I have moved 13 times in my adult life. I don't want to ever move again... unless I find that perfect house THAT WE CAN AFFORD, which we can't. I have a FitBit which I use to monitor my sleep. I inputted a goal of 8 hours of sleep a night because I was getting anywhere from 4 hours to 9 hours on a good day. I've been getting 8 hours a lot more lately, going to bed earlier. Unfortunately when you have fibro 8 hours doesn't matter. I'm always tired. I hope you get things straightened out soon. I would hate to be in your position. Keeping you in my prayers.

I don't like change either. Never have. French toast does sound good. You are probably a bit depressed and that messes with your sleep pattern which messes with everything else.

I like sleeping on the floor now and then. Its just more comfortable at times.
