Should I eat lots of eggs?

Yesterday my post was deleted because the title said good night. So now I am writing a morning post thinking whether it is healthy to eat scrambled eggs every day at breakfast. How many eggs do you eat in a week?

I eat eggs about twice a week, often in an omelette. I'm surprised that your post was deleted because of the title. I've seen lots of posts with that same title - is it a new thing to eliminate them?

The simple goodnight kind of posts are not seeming to draw enough conversation and truly only wish people well before heading off too sleep--- not much room for heavy income earning discussion so that is why her titled post may have been deleted . . .

Not many. They are high in protein. Everything in moderation is a good rule I think.

@marguicha ...Yes. The carbs turn into sugar and doesn't do your waistline any favors.

I permit myself at least 4 times a month eggs made in either an omelet, scrambled or boiled since this particular food is loaded more with protein than bad cholesterol . . . if your LDL cholesterol is already high I would not recommend eggs everyday @marguicha

@enlightenedpsych2. I have never had that problem. Maybe it is because I eat lots of avocados. Or maybe it is because I don't eat a lot of fried things

I do not think its advisable to always have eggs in the morning. Thats too much cholesterol. I eat two in a week.

I enjoy eggs several times a week. I have been eating them lately heating up frozen potato pancakes and putting fried eggs on them.Only two at a time for breakfast.

I eat eggs 3-4 times a week mostly boiled and poached. I don't know about the truth behind consuming eggs everyday could increase your risk for heart disease because I've also read that its okay to eat eggs everyday. Quite confusing But isn't it okay because eggs are healthy?

I have eggs nearly everyday. Once a day is good enough for me. Too much of something, even if they say it's fine, is still bad.

@marguicha maybe try and vary the method of cooking to make it more exciting and healthier? like poached or boiled? I understand poaching is a bit challenging but there are devices now. I have a poaching pocket which makes it so much easier. Some people use glad wrap but I am not very comfortable dipping plastic into boiling water. Who knows what toxins get released by doing that

Really? Because of the title? We eat more eggs during the weekend . . . but in total over the week I might eat 4-5 eggs per week. Sometimes I add bitter greens to add more nutrition to it.

I should, but I don't because of putting off what's good for me in favor of busyness, not laziness. I fry eggs in butter every breakfast or lunch, so far. A friend supplies us every other week with 10 dozens of free range eggs from her own backyard. Hard-boiled eggs are easier to prepare and eat, instead of snacking on junk chips.

I think eggs are not as bad for you as people once seemed to think. If your cholesterol is normal, it probably isn't bad to eat eggs every day.

It is fine to have scrambled eggs everyday as breakfast. But of course so many eggs will not be suggested. I think two eggs will be good enough for a day.
