How many of you remember what it was like when you first joined My Lot?

I don't remember much about how I started. But I know I liked it right away.

i remember the first mylotter to notice me and guide me back then was diana. she's from the uk but based in italy, but she's not active here now.

Well my profile says I joined 7 years ago but I haven't spent a lot of time here so I don't really remember. I take long breaks but when I come back I really love it here so I'm sure I enjoyed it to start with.

I don't spend much time here so I can't remember.I open mylot in holidays or when I am free in the day but when I interact here I feel so good but when I have joined here the layout was different and also that share option of pinterest is added in new layout.

I had been on a different site that was similar - but it had closed. And I really missed writing these type of post/reading other's posts. Happily I remained friends with @teamfreak16 - so I asked him if he knew of anything similar to the other site we were on and he pointed me here. I looked at it once maybe but didn't have time that day and the item of "check out teamfreak's writing site" stayed on my "to do list" for a long time. Months. Then I looked at it again and thought - why not? Jumped right in. Love it.

Three months dear. And the date December 7th.i do rarely check the posts and discussion posted by me in the beginning

I think i jumped right in. I dont remember much different beyond the different layout as well as the ilustrious 10 dollar minimum payout.

@Hannihar I enjoyed it from the start - quite a few writers who used to be on Bubblews came here so it was like a family reunion with lots of new friends too

I remember very much back then, people kept making post after post and after post but no one's responding to them. So that time mylot change the rules.

I was on another site viz 'Bubb....', but it was shut down. After that our entire group came on myLot. This site is very cool and filled with talented and friendly writers.

I felt uncomfortable when I first started out.

I had been part of another site that went belly up, so I was used to blogging. I know I checked out the terms of use and faq's before I did anything, and then I wrote my first post, jumping right in, basically picking up where I left off from the other site.

All my old bubble friends were here so I did know a few people, I just started talking and never shut up

When I first joined a writing site before I feel nervous because I don't know how to deal with people, are they going to mock me or insult me because I know I am not a good writer. Then that writing site was gone. When a friend introduces me here in myLot, of course, I am still nervous that time but not that hesitant to expose my thoughts. I am still thanking for that one friend.

Wow, that was a while ago! I have a poor memory but know that I had had many good discussions in the early years and it continues.

I cannot remember either. It was 8 years ago!

Totally forgot. Time flies by so fast.

I was on Bubblews and when it closed I had no idea where my friends went and one sent me a message saying to join Mylot. I have been here since that day. The website was all I needed, a chance to write and to converse with my old friends.

I didn't know what I was doing here when I first joined. It took me an hour or so until I became more comfortable. Still learning. Lol!

I used to write for another site but it went down and we all switched over to MyLot. It was more confusing then the other site so it took a while to get used to and I am still learning things on this site.
