Old Photos - A Window On The Past

I recovered several photo albums from the apartment of my mom.
Going through them, I have found forgotten photos of myself.
Looking at them, the past was flowing in my mind like in a movie.
Each photo brought back memories, of places that I do not see from years, and people who are no more with me.
I am the one in each photo.
With my mom in the second photo on the first row.
With my cousin in the bottom row, we were vacationing with my family at the sea.
I miss those vacations at the sea, we were young and happy, it would be great to be able to go again and remember the good all times.

Yes, sometimes it is nice to look at the old photos. Sometimes when I see our past photos and at that time my son was just a baby, somewhat I would be tearful. How time flies! We can't go back to the past and we can just go forward. Those are still in my memory and I remember the stories in each photo.

I do like to look at old photos. Mostly I miss just having my family around. We didn't know how good we had it.

I haven't forgotten about the photos I'm supposed to send!! Think I'll take one of them on my cell phone! I want to show U my favorite picture of me and Santa Claus when I was 8!! I was so lovely and a pretty thing!! Arent I modest, but it will be on your do u take pictures post and the other!!!

I do love looking at old photos and I share them on line with cousins and other family. I have enjoyed all parts of my life and just look forward, rarely the past. Every stage of my life has been an happy experience.

@DeborahDiane We have found none in the house of my grandmother. We think that one of the siblings of my mom has thrown them. It is a shame.

@LadyDuck - I wonder how many family photos and other treasures are lost, because family members just throw them out. It is sad to think about it. I'm glad you rescued yours.

I had some smack talk miss Anna, but left it at the door for you. To pretty and neat to see. Nothing against you but you know how people judge, Let me know I am the best smack talker ever for liberty and conservative rights as long as Trump is not involved You a lovely lady and is neat to see such lovely picture. In fact, very cool, but do hope people are actually real about and if they troll you, will be here and If I have to Marines always around the corner, but that might be in a shanty,

@hereandthere No, I went to a private school where only girls were allowed, he went to a public school. When this photo was taken he was still too young to go to school, but our siblings were invited for the Carnival party.

What lovely photos, Anna! I am indecisive about old photos...sometimes they bring back good memories, sometimes not. I miss being care free, @LadyDuck , we thought we had troubles when we were young, it was nothing compared to what troubles we have as an adult.

@anikoonline You can apply a filter to colored photos to make them black and white now. At those times you had no choice.
