Eating over heating foods will leads to digestion problems and is not good for our health. Many people eat leftovers foods by heating them again it's actually not good for health as they release toxins. Here are some list of foods we should not over heat Potatoes : they contain high amount of potassium ,Vitamin C, vitamin B6,by over heating they release dead bacteria Spinach: this should be never over heated because they contain nitrate which is turned to waste when we heat it and the iron content in these release free radicals which is harmful to health. Mushrooms and chicken: mushrooms release toxins when overheated and chicken should be never over heated . Friends if you know any foods that does harm by overheating mention it :)

It's a very good point. I know I over heat meat products often, I'm concerned with getting them "done" enough. Good to know things that shouldn't be overheated

Not all foods are dangerous if re-heated (overheated is another matter). In addition to spinach and mushrooms and potatoes that you already mentioned, never re-heat celery, beets and eggs. You can re-heat almost all the other food. You can re-heat chicken, but you must be sure it is hot, if not it gives digestive problems, but it's not dangerous.

We always eat leftovers and so far haven't had any problems but it's good to know which foods shouldn't be reheated.

I would place leftovers in the fridge and reheat them the next day. So far I haven't had a problem - but then again, I do not eat red meat or poultry.

Don't worry about these things as our body i a big machine which can tackle all these problems! Can you imagine how many bacteria we are having on our skin, in our mouth and in our digestive tract? They are all our friends to take care of us from harmful bacteria! They are known as favorable bacteria! Now if you have any doubts...please heat them in micro wave as no living thing can survive in microwave! Thanks dear friend @Icydoll! had your dinner?

The power system here is bad so leftovers are heated very well. I have not experienced any of the digestion problems you described.
