I got my best china and now it is time to wash it by hand. I don´t use it often for that reason.
I started to make the mayonnaise, but it didn´t work. I´ll have to make another
.
The rest of the meal is being taken care of. And Leticia is cooking today´s lunch so I can mylot a bit.
Later on, I will help her with the house. I will dust the small things and let her do the heavier work that my knees won´t let me do.

What are you making for Sunday? I have a pot roast in the crock pot for tonight and tomorrow I will make corned beef and cabbage

I will make 2 peruvian dishes from before they started fusion cuisine. Both are my grandma´s recipes. Papas a la huancaína and Picante de gallina. The main dish will have real hens instead of the usual chicken that Peruvian restaurants use now.

@thislittlepennyearns It is very different. Chicken are raised to be eaten within 3 months. I buy layer hens (old hens) that I cook in the pressure cooker until the meat falls from the bones. Hens give a delicious broth.

I remember my late father in law getting out the fancy china and cleaning them - only for very special occasions - and it was tedious! Today I was supposed to have a morning with a friend - but that has been cancelled . . . so now I have a little more time to myLot for a bit. I'll run some errands before picking up the kids.

Did your mayonnaise fall apart? I've never successfully made decent mayonnaise.
